VSM XF870 abrasive discs are designed for demanding material removal work at medium pressure.
Thanks to their self-sharpening ceramic grit and the additional VSM TOP SIZE active layer, even the hardest metals can be worked cold without discolouration.
High performance ABRASIVE DISCS.
VSM XF870 ABRASIVE DISCS consist of a vulcanised fibre backing with a semi-open powdered micro-crystalline ceramic abrasive that facilitates the removal of dust and sanding debris and prevents clogging and clogging of the work surface.
The VSM TOP SIZE technology is an additional active abrasive layer that improves cutting performance while reducing the temperature in the polishing area.
It also significantly increases the service life of the abrasive.
A robust multi-layer backing.
VSM XF870 ceramic abrasive discs are extremely resistant to deformation and tearing thanks to their multi-layer backing made of special vulcanised paper.
This type of backing is extremely strong and durable and is used for the manufacture of fibre discs with maximum stress.
A secure and reliable fastening system.
The VSM XF870 ceramic 4-slot grinding discs are used with their Ø5 in. backing pad, on which they are firmly held by the spur nut of the angle grinder.
Compliant with oSa® certification for safe use under extreme stresses, VSM XF870 ceramic grinding discs nevertheless require appropriate personal protective equipment.
