VSM ACTIROX AF799 ceramic ABRASIVE DISCS for machining the hardest metals.
VSM ACTIROX AF799 discs have been developed especially for working on unalloyed steels and aluminium.
VSM ACTIROX AF799 abrasive discs can also be used for working on stainless steel and non-ferrous metals thanks to their geometrically shaped ceramic grain and semi-closed powder coating, which provides good ventilation and facilitates the removal of dust and chips.
Geometrically shaped ceramic grains.
With ACTIROX VSM technology, the ceramic abrasive grains are geometrically shaped for more aggressive cutting and break up, continuously generating sharp edges.
This results in maximum stock removal and faster cutting without excessive heating of the work area which causes discolouration of metals.
The material removal rate is more than twice as high as that of conventional ceramic abrasives, resulting in a real increase in productivity and, consequently, a perfect control of production costs.

VSM ACTIROX AF799 abrasive discs are made of a vulcanised multi-layer fibre backing that offers extreme resistance to deformation and tearing.

A safe and reliable angle grinder mounting system.
The VSM ACTIROX AF799 4-slot ABRASIVE DISCS are used with their robust Ø5 in. ventilated rubber backing pad on which the disc is firmly held by the angle grinder's locknut tightened with the lug spanner.
