Polishing pastes are inseparable from the polishing of cutlery, whether it is intended for the blades of your knives, the handles or the parts that make it up. Slightly abrasive (dosages vary according to the type chosen), they are applied to the leather of your polisher, but also to the sisal or cotton discs (if they are not already impregnated). Once the latter is rotating, the sharpened blade is applied to it to refine the finish of the edge and give the material a shine.
Different pastes, different uses, a multitude of supports.
There are as many polishing pastes as there are materials to be treated and possible finishes. Whether you are looking to polish wood, give a specular finish (mirror polish) to your blade, or simply to give shine to your bolsters, there is a polishing paste colour (green, white, blue...) for the material you want to work on, and the finish you want to obtain. You can find our different polishing pastes and recommended uses on the product sheets of each article, but also in our blog article dedicated to this subject.
Polishing pastes without animal materials.
Taking into consideration the trades where the presence of animal matter can compromise the use of certain tools (for example, surgical instruments), the polishing pastes we offer are Vegan certified, i.e. without any animal matter, and therefore suitable for the use of these tools.
