Our smooth Vulkollan® contact wheels are ideal for dry processing of profiled and non-profiled parts and are suitable for all types of finishing work on ferrous metals and soft materials with a cutler's backstand. Coated with high quality cellular polyurethane, our smooth Vulkollan® contact wheels combine high elasticity and rigidity.
Vulkollan® contact wheels with a classic and innovative coating.
Known since the 1950s, polyurethane elastomers have been constantly evolving to reach today's cellular Vulkollan©, which is used in our Vulkollan® contact wheels. Its mechanical, dynamic and micro-cellular qualities make it an ultra-high performance polyurethane widely used in high-tech industries.
Vulkollan® contact wheels have almost no wear and no permanent deformation.
Thanks to their cellular Vulkollan© coating, our Vulkollan® contact wheels do not deform permanently, even after prolonged static loading. They are not very sensitive to abrasive wear, which makes them valuable supports in surface treatment processes with abrasive belts on cutlery backstands.
Medium hardness for optimum elasticity.
With a hardness of 20/25 shores A, our smooth Vulkollan® contact wheels offer an elasticity and resilience that allow the use of soft abrasive belts for the treatment of profiled parts, as well as rigid belts for the treatment of parts with a uniform surface, whether in a manual process such as in a cutler's backstand or on a robotized chain.
