Ø3 to Ø16 mm cross-toothed SPHERIC MILLING cutter for roughing or finishing.
This AT116 tungsten carbide SPHERICAL ROUTER is ideal for roughing or finishing all materials, thanks to its cross-toothing which reduces vibration and evacuates swarf.
A cutter for versatile, universal use.
With its crossed teeth, this type of cutter is suitable for machining materials as diverse as metals (steel, stainless steel, light alloys), abrasive materials, composites or plastics.
Advice and precautions for use.
It is imperative to respect the rotation speeds recommended by the manufacturer. If the speed is too low, the tool may vibrate or bounce, which could lead to breakage. If the speed is too high, the braze between the tungsten carbide head and the shank will melt. In all cases, the SPHERIC MILLER shank must never come into contact with the workpiece during use, as this may cause abnormal heating.
Drive tools.
Carbide burs are used with hand-held power tools with chuck, or with a straight grinder with collet. The user is strongly advised to wear personal protective equipment to avoid personal injury in the event of accidental tool breakage.
